Meet in central Sorrento and ride into the hills to La Masseria Farm, where family hosts such as Eugenio and Raffaele show you lemon and olive groves, animals, wine production, and handmade foods. Taste olive oils, honey, cheese, marmalade, limoncello, and wine, then sit down to a hearty lunch made largely from farm-grown ingredients.
“Absolutely awesome way to spend a somewhat rainy day. Beautiful farm with lemons, olive, chestnut, orange and other trees. Very informative tour by the family sprinkled with humour and followed by an amazing home cooked farm to table meal! Possibly the best we had in Italy - including amazing bread, bruschetta, pasta puttanesca with home grown olives, grilled veg, cheese board, lemon tarts, and home made wine. Tasting and purchases followed. Highly highly recommend. Lastly lovely to see the wonderful goats, pigs and cats interact with our group.”
